Sledding

So it is always fun to go sledding; however, we hardly have any snow yet here. You can see a lot of the grass, but the kids (even the adults) still had fun. I, of course, had to watch this year, but Jocelynn, Jenn, James, and my mom gave it a try. I think they had a great time. Do you love Dylan's face in this picture? He had fun until it was time to go and he wanted to make it known...
Cute family.....I love this pic of Jocelynn. It was the only one I got of her whole face.

Jenn and James ready to sled.

Grandma Kirk and Jocelynn...we bundled her up pretty good.

James and Jocelynn. She could hardly move, but she went
down several times so I think she had fun.

Jaeger wouldn't look at me, but he is so brave. He loved sledding and doing spinning tricks and going fast. I was surprised he wanted to go alone.

So the clothes are a little big for her, but luckily we have some stuff for her to enjoy the cold snow. She also got to see a bunch of antelope that were close
by and play at the park for a little bit.

Love the traditional Christmas Sunday photos.

This weekend, my mom, dad, Jennifer, James, and Jocelynn came to visit for a few days. It has been a lot of fun. Here is Jocelynn with her pretty Christmas dress: everyone ready for church.

A Visit With Santa

Every year the kids look forward to seeing Santa Clause. This year at our ward party he did not come....so we went to Grandma's ward party to make sure they got to tell them their wishes this year............
Micah wants a Tony Hawk bike and Tony Hawk helmet........

Dylan wants a Spiderman razor scooter and spiderman helmet...........

Jordyn found out what an All-American Girl doll was this past year. She wants the little baby with some clothes for it.................

Jaeger was more nervouse to see Santa Clause, although he has warmed up a little bit. I have a screaming picture of his first visit. This year he took one look and tried to walk away. He ended up compromising with holding his hand. He has seen him two other times and loves him now. He wants a dirt bike and helmet..............

Christmas Fun: Decorating the Tree

After decorating the Christmas tree, we decided to take some fun family shots.
Here are me and my boys!

Jordyn and me

Jordyn and Chad: Now who do you think she looks more like???

Chad and the boys

Me and my hubby: Love that smile!

Every year we have the tradition after Thanksgiving to decorate the tree. As much as I love the smell of a real tree, I love my fake tree. The kids have so much fun putting it together and it looks so nice afterwards.
Micah doing his share.

3 boys.....best of buds!

Little Jordyn....growing up fast!

Jaeger trying to figure it out.

Thanksgiving 2009

Every year as a Liechty tradition the entire family gets together. If you don't know, Chad's dad comes from a family of 11 brothers and sisters. So now with several generations it is a lot of people. Most years we have stayed under one roof....yea, 65-85 people in one house is a little overwhelming. I am usually running for the walk-in closet just to have a place for all of my kids. Well, this year we rented 3 houses in Bear Lake. It was so nice. These homes are incredible and overlooked the beautiful lake. I have to say it was nice being divided into 3 homes and for once in 10 years, I had my own room. Chad is always working and I always have the kids by myself....but we survived the 4 days without too much damage.
Here are the boy cousins in our immediate family:
Micah (6), Eli (3), Aiden (4), Jaeger (2), and Dylan (4).
Yea, it is a busy house for a few days......

Trying to take a family picture to send for Christmas cards. I liked the outdoor one best.

Isn't this such a good picture?! Chad smiled a lot in pics when we were first together, but that stopped after about a year. He refused to smile in any picture after that. On my anniversaries I always convince him to smile so I would get one picture a year. Last year we took pictures down at the beach and they were so good. He has an amazing smile. Something convinced him that he looks so much better. This was actually a candid shot and I love it.

Trip to Vegas

It is that time a year again....So You Think You Can Dance has a dance conference in Vegas and this is the second year the studio I work for went. It was a lot of fun. I enjoy learning from choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Dave Scott, Wade Robson, and Chris Judd. But I also really enjoy a weekend away. We went to the show "O" which was an amazing water show. We also ate at amazing restaurants. Yes, I ate at The Cheesecake Factory for the first time. Sooo good. We also went to the movies. A very short, but very relaxing weekend.
Here was the gang without Donna and Dan.

Here is a pic of Donna and me. Donna is the owner of the dance studio, my neighbor, and great friend. I look up to her so much and always have a l0t of fun with her.

Okay, don't wonder why I took a pic of this. It has become tradition when going to Vegas to eat at this b'que place with fried pickles. I know, they don't sound the best, but they are. So good and we always eat them all!
